Firstly, those of you who are regular watchers will have noticed we have put adverts up around the videos; we have done this to help fund the site and make it grow so please take this as an apology if it puts a bit of a dampner on the surfing videos but it will make things better in the future.

The surfing video sees Joel Parkinson, Dean Morrison and Mick Fanning getting pitted in some true Indonesian beauties; it’s ridiculous how deep they get in some of these kegs. Red Bull do come up with some crazy ideas, out of the surfing world they built snowboarder Shaun White his own half pipe in some remote backcountry so he could perfect a couple of moves which meant he won gold at the Olympics. However for this surfing video they went one step further, take one of the world’s most dangerous and respected waves shove 3 of Hawaii’s top pros on it and then turn off the lights, yes that’s right night surfing at Pipe……what’s next? Shane Dorian will be 38 this July and judging from the way he charges Mavericks in today’s surfing video he won’t be slowing down any time soon. Apparently this is Shane’s first session out at Mav’s. How Daily Surf Video readers can someone line themselves up that well at a big wave spot and take off that late on their first session…? Crazy skills Shane!! In today’s surfing video Kelly Slater fresh off Victory at Bells takes on Shipstern Bluff. This session was shot for Australian Surfing Life. It’s weird how quickly Kelly manages to squeak out the back of some of these you would have thought the wipeouts would have been a lot heavier but clearly luck, skill and experience all pay off in the end.
This surfing video is from the guys over at SUPERbrand surfboards which was founded by Clay Marzo, Dion Agius and Ry Craike to help produce the best boards around, most shapers would say that however with a team like that you’ve got to be thinking something special should come out as the end product. Anyway this surfing video sees Clay spending more time with his fins out of the wave than in it, except when his getting barreled off his nut….nice!
Since he destroyed the competition at the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro we thought today’s surfing video should feature some surfing from Gabe Kling. [SKY note: Yay, Gabe! I met him once in Hawthorne, FL through my good friend. Her good friend Annie is Gabe's mom. Way to go Gabe! Represent Florida!].
Gabe hails from St Augustine in Florida, after this victory at Lowers Gabe has firmly established himself at the top of the East coast surfers along with the Hobgood brothers and of course Slater. A regular footer who made it to the WCT in 2007 only to fail to qualify for the tour in 2008; most surfers would have struggled to come to terms with such a blow however for Gabe this was just a set back before against the odds he re qualified for the WCT for the 2009 season. Currently sitting at 27th on the world tour in 2010 after his latest victory at The Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro and the new 2010 ASP rules the future is looking up for the Floridian. You may notice that Gabe is not the only surfer in today’s video watch out for Ben Bourgeois and Dane Reynolds surfing the shore at Labenne, Hossegor. Bobby Martinez shows that being a professional surfer is not all about perfect waves, in today’s surfing video the 2006 rookie of the year tears apart some fairly junky waves, how we wish we could all rip like that. After Bells Beach Bobby currently lies in 4th place one better than his 5th place during his rookie year on the wct, who knows maybe this will be the year he takes down the title?
